Cause
Vancouver Westcoast Music Society (VWMS) supports emerging artists in all classical music disciplines to further
their training and education by awarding annual
scholarships and bursaries. We provide our award winners
the opportunity to perform before an appreciative audience.
We are pleased to have fully returned to live performances,
with the majority of our performers comprising our
competition winners. VWMS issued its first scholarship in
1923, 100 years ago! Thanks to your support, our bursary
and scholarship competitions continue to flourish into the
present day.

*Vancouver Westcoast Music Society was previously
known as the Vancouver Women's Musical Society. In 2022,
the society changed its name to better reflect its inclusivity.
